ArcMate ECM Solution

With over 40 million subscribers, Banglalink is the third-largest telecommunication service provider in Bangladesh. Innovative products and services have fueled the growth of Banglalink over the years. According to research and analytics firm OpenSignal, Banglalink scored the highest in Bangladesh in terms of upload and download speed, and for voice, video, and mobile gaming experience.

CHALLANGES

Banglalink, a telecom company, used an outdated and expensive system to manage over 100 million subscriber documents. Transitioning to another system proved challenging. Having two systems in parallel was frustrating for Banglalink, so they needed a single central solution to securely store and manage all business documents and subscriber files.

SOLUTIONS

  • Banglalink implemented a future-proof solution to overcome the challenges, utilized the ArcMate Enterprise document management system, along with data migration and professional services.
  • The solution integrated with an Oracle database and Microsoft Active Directory, providing scalability and meeting all document management requirements.
  • Additional modules for document routing, version tracking and control, and full-text search were also included. Solution also included customizations for advanced controls, custom logs, report templates, and bulk upload and download tools.
  • The solution was deployed with professional services, including requirement gathering, customization, implementation, training, and a fool-proof data migration process for over 100 million subscriber documents.

SAF Management - It was a nationwide project where we had to setup 12 hubs across the country to collect physical SAF documents, scanned, made data entry, NID verification, and physical warehousing centrally. - Banglalink had a special project that required the backlog data entry of 250 million fields.
